In 2018 I worked on a photographic project on teenage pregnancy in Moldova for UNFPA Moldova.

Every year, more than 2,600 adolescent girls become mothers in Moldova. Limited sexual education, taboos and misconceptions about sexual and reproductive health and gender inequality and some of the leading reasons for a high number of teenage pregnancies.

UNFPA Moldova is working with the government and local authorities to develop a comprehensive sexuality education program as well as to implement a national strategy for combatting gender-based violence.
